It has been announced during E3 that fan favourite Final Fantasy VII is getting a modern gen remake by Square Enix. The remake for the 1997 JRPG classic will be released on March 3rd 2020 for the Playstation 4 and eventually the Playstation 5.
Final Fantasy for whoever isn’t into video games is a Japanese science fantasy media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi and owned, developed and published by Square Enix.
Final Fantasy VII is the 7th title in the franchise. It was initially released on the original Playstation. The game boasted a unique story and an amazing JRPG experience which made it a landmark and an all time classic.
The game was also part of the small list of games that made it to Sony’s mini remake of the original Playstation titled Playstation classic.
This time the FF VII remake stayed away from controversy unlike the 2015 HD remake in which the players noticed a slight difference between the original game and it’s renewed counterpart.
It was of course none other than Tifa’s breast size nerf. The fans were furious and refused to receive a game where Tifa’s breasts are any different from their original state.
The Final Fantasy VII remake will be split into episodes, the first one will be available on March 3rd 2020 on the Playstation 4.
